I love the coverage and available gloss colors but the items I sprayed are feeling tacky after a few days of drying time. It could be the weather but it’s really not that hot or humid. I first sprayed an old beat up pet carrier’s exterior to try and clean it up a bit. The spray went on beautifully but stayed tacky for days and today is still a lil’ sticky. I then tried the spray on another surface because I was curious. I sprayed a plain unstained/unpainted basket and let it dry. Still feelin’ tacky after several days. Again…could be the weather. Maybe I didn’t shake the can long enough? Overall I love the color and easy coating but hate the sticky feeling it leaves. Also important to note that a strong chemical smell remains after several days. Hoping by leaving the pet carrier out in the fresh air it will set the paint and get rid of the odor. Even though the paint is only on the exterior I would not subject any animal to the smell coming off from the paint.
